The Primary CSL VPN connection to UK alarm receiving centres went down today at approximately 14:30 UK time and recovered at approximately 15:05 UK time. All affected customers should have received VPN status email alerts from CSL corresponding to the above events. The 'down' email notification would have been your trigger to divert to your Secondary (DR) alarm receiving centre platform in order to continue receiving digital alarm calls from devices with CSL SIM's. As such, you can now revert back to your Primary ARC at your convenience.
CSL are investigating this issue as a Priority and we will relay their findings and mitigation to prevent a reoccurrence.
There have also been isolated instances for some customers where it appears the CSL VPN connection to the Primary and Secondary ARC went down. These connections are not managed by Legrand and will require the customer IT provider to liaise with CSL to implement resilient connectivity.
